About me
Currently residing in Katy, Texas, Paul Katsus participates in many activities within the larger Houston metropolitan community. Recreationally, Paul Katsus plays soccer and golf, in addition to taking fishing trips. Furthermore, he enjoys reading for leisure, particularly such authors as Margaret Mitchell and Jules Verne. Paul Katsus names Gone With the Wind, The Long Walk, and 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea among his favorite books. Beyond these hobbies, Paul Katsus is a member of Toastmasters International, a nonprofit organization with more than 250,000 members worldwide. Paul Katsus meets with other members of Toastmasters International in member-led gatherings, where attendees practice public speaking and effective communication in addition to developing leadership skills. Paul Katsus earned his Bachelor of Science in Marketing and Management from Houston Baptist University in 1992. Paul Katsus currently acts as a Service Consultant in utility and electrical analysis for CenterPoint Energy, a company to which he has devoted more than 15 yearsโ time. His duties in this capacity include meeting with customers to determine individual electrical needs and designing electrical distributions to meet the clientโs criteria. In this capacity he uses the LdPro program to design his projects. As a consultant, Paul Katsus maintains contact with colleagues through his participation with the Engineering & Utility Contractors Association (EUCA). The EUCA provides services to members such as Paul Katsus ranging from government advocacy aimed at promoting growth in business, to opportunities for advancing networking.Occupation: Service Consultant at CenterPoint Energy
